1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a site. It keeps the site working, remembers your preferences or measures audience. Some cookies are essential; others require your consent.

2. The categories we use

Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

Essential to the operation and security of the service: authentication and session (login to the practitioner area), security (anti-CSRF protection), load balancing, storing your preferences (including your cookie choice). They cannot be disabled without degrading the service and are exempt from consent.

Analytics

Where applicable, limited analytics help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. When configured in an anonymised way and without cross-site tracking, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority), it may be exempt from consent; otherwise, it is only activated with your agreement.

Cookies subject to consent

Any non-essential cookie (non-exempt analytics, third-party content, detailed statistics) is only stored after you have given consent, collected through our banner. To date, MouthCare stores no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking technology.

3. Your consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies, with the same ease in both cases. Refusing does not prevent access to the site. You can change your choice at any time:

5. Managing cookies from your browser

You can also set your browser to accept, block or delete cookies (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have a dedicated menu). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login to the practitioner area.
